If the computer has modifications (listed below), then the manufacturer box is opened for it to be tested and inspected and to install the upgrades to achieve the specifications as advertised. If no modifications are listed, the item is unopened and untested. Defects and blemishes are significantly reduced by our in depth inspection and testing. The following components are upgraded by Computer Upgrade King Technicians: RAM, Hard DriveA known ASUS design issue exists where the wifi connection is intermittant and streaming of data such as video is compromised. The Wifi card is not standard hardware and cannot be replaced. There is a fix but it disabled the bluetooth functionality. We will perform a remote session to fix this wifi issue with bluetooth disabled for any customers reporting the problem. ALL ZENBOOK laptops exhibit this design flaw regardless of where they are purchased. We are likely the only company attempting to remedy the issue for its customer.
